Easter Egg: The Wrath of Zelda
While Zelda is inhabiting a phantom, smack her with the Whip or Boomerang. Keep smacking her and she’ll eventually retaliate…
Unlockable: Stamp Collector Rewards
Go to Aboda Village. Then Visit Niko after you received a letter from him and he’ll give you a Stamp Book. There are 15 Stamp Stations in 15 areas (villages, dungeons etc.) you can visit on the Rail Map — some of Stations are very well hidden. Return to Niko after you collected some stamps. He’ll reward you for your efforts.
10 – Ancient Shield (cannot be eaten by Like- Likes!)
15 – Engineer Outfit (switch freely between outfit you start and the green soldier uniform)
20 – Swordsman’s Scroll II (augmented Spin Attack)
Unlockable: Take ‘Em All On Rewards
As you play through the quest, three Take ‘Em All On challenges will be unlocked in Hyrule Castle Town (southeast corner). Here are the rewards for beating the challenges:
1 – Heart Container
2 – Bomb Bag II (carry 30 bombs)
3 – At the bottom of this challenge you’ll find a common treasure in a chest, then, if you beat Shadow Link, you’ll get a rare treasure (lame!).
Unlockable: Rabbitland Rescue Rewards
You’ll be able to explore the Spirit Tracks for rabbits after talking to the yahoo at Rabbitland Rescue in the Forest Realm,. Catch the following numbers of Rabbits to unlock rewards.
Catch 5 rabbits – Heart Container
Catch 50 rabbits – Swordsman’s Scroll I (Sword Beam)
Unlockable: Spirit Flute Songs
You can use The Spirit Flute to play songs for various effects at any time when you select it from the item menu (far right). You can find the song throughout the dungeons, villages and other areas of Spirit Tracks. They reside in stones shaped like Rocket Ships (called “Air Stones”). When you tap these stones, the song will play and colored spheres showing the correct notes on the flute’s scale will stream from the rocket stone. Take out your flute and play the song shown to memorize it. You can refer to songs in the Collection menu. Here is a list of the songs and their uses:
Song of Awakening // LIGHT BLUE, RED
Location: The Forest Sanctuary
Go to western area of the Forest Sanctuary to learn this song . The Song of Awakening wakes up the one-eyed, bunny-eared stone statues, called “Gossip Stones,” found in the dark recesses of Hyrule. These statues provide Link with clues about treasure among other things.
Song of Healing // LIGHT GREEN, WHITE, LIGHT GREEN
Location: The Forest Temple
You can found this Air Stone on the train platform at the beginning of the Forest Temple, Floor 1. You can use the Song of Healing to restore all of your hearts once in a dungeon. After using it, you must exit the dungeon before you can use it again.
Song of Birds // DARK BLUE, ORANGE, DARK BLUE
Location: Papuchia Village
You’ll be forced to learn this song on your quest for Carben, the Ocean Sage. The Song of Birds summons birds to your side. This works on cuccos, doves and the birds that carry grapple points for your whip in the southwest region of Papuchia Village and in the Ocean Sanctuary.
Song of Light // DARK BLUE, YELLOW, RED, LIGHT BLUE, WHITE
Location: Trading Post
This Air Stone is sitting near Linebeck’s grave in the northern portion of the Trading Post. The Song of Light makes diamond-shaped crystal objects glow and emit a ray of light. You could use this to solve certain puzzles.
Song of Discovery // RED, YELLOW, RED, LIGHT BLUE
Location: Anouki Village
Go to the center of Anouki Village and search the Air Stone. To reveal the treasure chests and other things hidden in certain areas You should play the Song of Discovery. Check circles of boulders, for instance, or the base of trees. Usually you’ll have a clue about the location of the hidden object from a map or a bunny-eared Gossip Stone (see the Song of Awakening).
Unlockable: Alternate Endings
Just before boarding the Demon Train for the final battle, Zelda will ask you what you want to do after it’s all over. The ending will vary depending on how you respond:
Warrior – Zelda will hear the sounds of Link sword fighting below her window
Engineer – Zelda will hear Link’s train whistle
Dunno – Random (???)
Hint: Goron Pep Talk Reward
After taking the small Goron to Castle Town you eventually be able to strike up a conversation with him that goes something like this: He tells you he is discouraged by city life and spent all of the money his grandfather had given him. Choose to tell him to “Cheer up.” The Goron child will perk up and then the game will give you 2 more choices. Pick the top one. The young Goron will thank you for the pep talk, and give you Goron Amber.
Hint: Raise the Desert
You must to completed the Sand Temple first. Then go back to the Sand Sanctuary with the sand wand. Use it to raise the sand in the Sanctuary. There are 3 Big Green Rupees hidden in the sand.
Hint: Rupee Farming
Before You start the process, make sure you have the whip and whirlwind, at least 50 rupees (more is better) and access to the Trading Post.
Go to Whittleton and pull up all the grass with the Whirlwind. Pick up any rupees or treasure. Chances are you have already found at least two pieces of treasure and at least 15 rupees.
Go one screen to the right and pull up all the leaves there. Once you have done that, do a whip race (50 Rupees) and complete quickly and safely to earn treasure.
Pull up all the leaves again and there will be more treasure. Go down the bottom and do the same. Once you have had enough, go to Linebeck III at the trading post and cash it all in
